Sirens echo
Ponoka Elementary School kindergarten students, Aiden Steil, Fergus McGarry, Donovan Halbert, and Brodey Braidey plug their ears as Donna Noble, fire prevention co-ordinator, gives them a sense of what a fire truck’s siren sounds like May 15.
Noble gave valuable tips in what to do when there is a fire at home.
They were shown what a firefighter in full protective gear looks like and also had the chance to try on a protective jacket.
