Honouring a teammate:

In what is probably one of the first times at the Ponoka Culture and Recreation Complex, a FirstNations teammate was recognized with a drum honour song. Gilbert Buffalo sang an honour song Feb. 18 for theFountain Tire midget Wolves player Liam Buffalo before the game. This was the last regular season game for the Wolves and the evening featured a night of recognition for the third year players as well.
