The ‘roar of the rings’ will soon be starting down at the Ponoka Curling Rink for all age groups, and this classic early 1900s photo features one of the earliest and hottest teams in the Central Alberta bonspiel circuit. Shown are Messrs. Orsum, Fairley, Wilson, and Lundy with their fabulous array of prizes, please notice the old ‘corn brooms,’ and I wonder if that was their regular curling attire in those days Have a great season!
