Maskwacis Cree Junior High School’s floor hockey team returned triumphant from the Treaty 6 tournament last month.
The team travelled to Edmonton on Jan. 18, to the Amiskwaciy Academy, for the tournament, going undefeating and bringing home the championship.
According to a social media post, the host school said the Maskwacis team were very respectful and great ambassadors for their community.
The team members are: Kelsey Crane, Kenneth Cutarm, Hunter Cutarm, Leland LC, Jerome Montour, Jenoah Moonias, Aceton Saddleback, Rylan Wolfe-Ward, Liddell Makinaw, Ethan Morin and Suree Dixon-Yellowbird.
