A farm tractor went up in flames Oct. 14.
Members of the Ponoka County East District Fire Department were called to the scene of a tractor fire Saturday afternoon on Bobtail Road north of Ponoka.
There were no injuries out of the incident.
Theft of truck
On Oct. 5 the Ponoka RCMP responded to a complaint of a theft of truck from a rural residence located on Range Road 280.
A 2003 blue Dodge truck bearing Alberta marker 56J 390 was stolen sometime between Oct. 4th and 5th. File is currently under investigation.
Vehicle fire
On Oct. 6 the Ponoka RCMP responded to a vehicle fire located in a field on Range Road 253.
A 2016 Ford F350 was totally engulfed in flames. There were no witnesses. File is currently under investigation.
Break and enter
On Oct. 10 the Ponoka RCMP responded to a break and enter at the Ponoka Waste Transfer Site.
A compressor as well as other items were taken from the shop area. File currently under investigation.
Abandoned vehicle was stolen
On Oct. 11 the Ponoka RCMP responded to a complaint of an abandoned vehicle on Highway 604.
Upon investigation the vehicle was found to be stolen out of the Blackfalds area.
No passing school buses when lights and signs on
The Ponoka RCMP reminds the public to watch for children entering and exiting the school buses.
When the bus is stopped and the Stop Signs are displayed, the traffic must stop from both directions until the stop signs are pulled in and the flashing lights are off.
