RCMP are requesting the public to be on the lookout for a missing Aboriginal woman.

Sonya Chief Moon was last seen on June 4, running away, say police, from the Super Car Wash in Leduc. At the time, she was wearing a grey t-shirt, yoga pants and whit Adidas skate shoes.

Moon, who is approximately five feet, seven inches tall and 155 pounds, was also highly intoxicated when she disappeared and police are concerned for her welfare.

Anyone that may know of Moon’s whereabouts or has information about her movements since June 4 are encouraged to contact the Leduc RCMP detachment (780-980-7200) or their local RCMP detachment. Should people wish to remain anonymous, call CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or go online to www.tipsubmit.com.
