Stettler RCMP investigating armed robbery at liquor store

On Wednesday night, Dec. 14 a liquor store was robbed in town by a lone male, who brandished a gun and made off with cash and beer.

On Wednesday night, Dec. 14 a liquor store was robbed in town by a lone male, who brandished a gun and made off with cash and beer.

Stettler RCMP are investigating this incident.

According to information received so far, around 10:47 p.m., a single male walked into the store and after bringing a case of beer to the counter, he whipped out a black handgun, making off with cash and beer soon after.

Even though the cashier was not injured in the incident, it has been revealed that the suspect left in a four-door red or pink sedan, comparable to a Honda Accord, and that possibly there were two other males in the car.

The suspect has been described as:

– Caucasian male

– Little to no facial hair

– Wearing a grey/dull blue construction coverall with reflective tape on the back and shoulders

– Black hood / black gloves / black shoes
