Teen charged in man’s death

A Hobbema teenager is facing a second-degree murder charge in the death of a 36-year-old man.

Hobbema RCMP began their investigation last week after a man died in hospital. Officers were called on a report of a domestic dispute at a residence on the Ermineskin First Nation after midnight on Dec.10.

Mounties determined the man at the residence had been injured and required medical treatment.

A youth from Hobbema was taken into police custody following the incident and now faces a murder charge.

The youth, who cannot be identified, is scheduled to make a court appearance Dec. 15th in Wetaskiwin.
