Betty M. Kleckner of Ponoka, Alberta was born on February 10, 1924 in Bowden, Alberta and passed away on May 26, 2010 at the Ponoka Hospital and Care Centre at the age of 86 years. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Jack; children: Joe (Sharon), Gary (Carol), Doug (Connie), Randy (Colleen) and Debra; ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; as well as numerous other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Edward and Jane Scragg, brother Harry and sister Nora. At Betty’s request there will be no Funeral Service. An Interment of ashes will take place in the Field of Honor at the Forest Home Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are gratefully accepted to the Alberta Diabetes Association, 1-020 HRIF-East, University of Alberta, Edmonton, Alberta T6G 9Z9
