Magdalene Mag Rose Greipl
On January 28, 2010 Mag Greipl of Wetaskiwin passed away at the Ponoka Hospital and Care Centre at the age of 50 years. Mag will be lovingly remembered by her husband Jon Dodds, her daughter Kristyn Greipl, their daughter Kaylee Dodds; and Jon's sons, Gage and Riley. Her sister Ramona Franz (George); her brother Raymond (Theresa) and their children Stephanie, Justin & Gregory; her brother David (Shelley) and their children Jeremy (Daneel), Dustin (Brandi) & Christopher; her brother Ken and his daughter Brandy; her sister Cecilia Dykstra (Peter) and their children Stacey (Scott), Nicole (Jonas) & Chelsie; her brother Dennis (Elaine); her brother Doug (Taryl) and their children Lacey & Karlee; as well as numerous other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her father John Abt on November 4, 1999 and her mother Beatrice Abt on February 17, 2004. A Prayer Vigil will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, February 1 at St. Augustine Catholic Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 2. The Interment Service will follow at Forest Home Cemetery. Memorial donations are gratefully accepted to the Stollery Children’s Hospital or the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.
