It is with broken hearts that we announce the death of Sawyer Sargeant Kiist, from the Lacombe/Ponoka area, as a result of a vehicle accident. Sawyer came into this world on January 19, 1993 and left it on March 3, 2017. He was homeschooled from K-gr. 12. He worked for Roneamar Farms, Canada Post, Royal Oak Village and finally at Kles-Air Lacombe where he was an apprentice for sheet metal mechanic. He had a short but full life. He loved animals, watching movies, loved being outdoors and being adventurous. His highlights were achieving a black belt status in Karate and acting professionally with the Cow Pattie Theatre Company. His sharp, quirky, quick wit and delightful humor will not be forgotten. He is survived by his parents, Rudy and Marie; his brother and best friend Vincent (Brianna); Grandparents, Rudy and Joan Kiist, Earl and Joan Sargeant; Girlfriend, Tiana Spooner; Uncle, Mike (Susan) Sargeant; Aunts, Michele Richardson and Michele Kiist; close cousins, Micheal, Ariel (Anthony) and Skyler Sargeant, Wayne and Danni Richardson, Robson and Parker Evans-Davis, as well as a large extended family and many dear friends. There was a small life celebration held for close family and friends. The family would be happy to receive any stories or condolences at remembering.sawyerk@gmail.com
