Dear editor,
On Feb. 26, a lady at The Hair Group saw me park in the handicap stall beside the crosswalk on Chipman Ave. She cleared the sidewalk and the traffic lane. Walking with a cane, I appreciated being able to easily accomplish my appointments.
By afternoon many had cleared the sidewalk. I parked where I could walk between the car and the sidewalk but the original snowfall remained between the traffic lane and the sidewalk.
When you clear the sidewalk would you please also clear between the sidewalk and the street on the crosswalks?
We in wheelchairs, with walkers, who use use canes, etcetera, would so appreciate your effort.
