Protection issues

Reader questions who will take care of Ponoka when the RCMP are busy elsewhere?

Dear Editor,

I quite agree with Sherry Gummow about releasing two policemen (Editor’s note: it was town staff, a community peace officer and town safety officer).

I thought this town was run by good people with good intentions. Really not impressed by the fire services debacle. We are already losing money from highway revenues.

If I was younger and had a better education and I was in charge, I would make things work for everyone. I am not; so all I can do is live with it.

But what do we do to be protected when all the boys are busy?
