Learning the ropes: Young athletes with Ponoka Minor Ball got some key pitching tips April 12 from Sheen Bromley of Baseball Alberta. Ponoka Minor ball baseball co-ordinator Michelle Reed has worked with Bromley the last three years to come to Ponoka and host these pitching clinics, usually at the Ponoka Christian School. These hands-on pitching clinics help minor ball players learn specific techniques for better pitching. Bromley was clear and concise in his teaching, a benefit to the young players.
