East Ponoka Beef 4H started this year at the end of September. With weigh in on Oct. 13 at VJV, we then had a meeting on Oct. 26 when we talked about CFR and many other events and topics. We also went on a hayride and had our 4H picture taken at the Harvey's cabin.
The next meeting was called to be on Nov. 23. There we planned a calf tour, which is when we go to everyone's houses and see the calves. We also had our Christmas party on Dec. 12. We all met at the bowling alley in Ponoka and exchanged gifts. Our next meeting is scheduled for Jan. 3, which will be the calf tour.
The club is looking forward to making many memories this year coming up as we have already started.
