On May 6 and 7 the Ponoka District Beef 4-H show and sale took place. On Monday all the members brought in their projects, we washed them and got them ready for the show and sale.
That evening there was the female show in which the heifer projects and cow calf projects were shown. The following day the steer show started off at 9 a.m., and continued throughout the day.
We had many buyers come to tour the barns and see our calves prior to the sale. The sale itself started at 5:30 pm. It was a tremendous sale with record-breaking prices. We are truly grateful to all the buyers and sponsors for their support in our show and sale.
