Central Ponoka 4-H Beef Club.
Officers were elected and committees were struck at our first club meeting, Sept. 23. We also discussed our weigh-in day, the charity project, community service events and fundraising.
On Oct. 7 our club will collect tires for recycling. We are also collecting used oil filters and batteries all winter long. If anyone has tires, used oil filters or any 12 volt, lead acid batteries (car, truck, tractor, motorcycle, quad or marine batteries) that you would like to dispose of, please contact my family (ask for Brent or Erin) at 403-783-6664 for one of our club members to pick them up.
