Bashaw and District Victim Services Unit, along with the RCMP, will host a gala dinner in conjunction with the town’s centennial.
The Oct. 1 evening is a semi-formal event — anything goes except jeans. In addition to local dignitaries, there will many RCMP members, past and present in attendance, wearing their traditional red serge uniforms.
An evening of dance will follow, with music provided by Stettler band, Domino, a versatile band, playing a variety of dancing tunes.
There will be numerous silent auction items, as well as a live auction, with all proceeds going directly to the Bashaw and District Victim Services Unit.
