Ponoka hairdressser Begum Mawgi officially said goodbye to her customers at a casual retirement party on May 31.
There was food, Mawgi’s signature carrot cake, hugs, flowers and cards.
Begum’s Hair Care has been a fixture at the Ponoka Plaza for the last 20 years.

Hairdresser Begum Mawgi has been cutting, perming, colouring and setting hair in Ponoka since 1983. She turns 76 years old in July.
