A group of 10 air cadets visited Ponoka Fire Hall on Tuesday, March 11 to receive first hand knowledge of how a fire and rescue team operates in emergency situations.
The group was told by firefighter Donna Noble that the first fire engine takes only three and a half minutes to set out to reach the venue of the emergency after receiving the service call.
Cadets also received detailed information on how the fire engines operate.
