After having a little too much to drink, Kate (played by Samantha Debree) announces to her boyfriend and his family that if the drought plaguing the small prairie town ends, she’ll run through town in nothing but her birthday suit.
The play Dry Streak will be staged at the Ponoka United Church with matinee performances on May 25 and June 1 at 2 p.m.
Evening performances are May 23, 24, 30 and 31 beginning at 7:30 p.m. with dinner starting at 6 p.m.
