Maskwacis RCMP regular members, Community Tripartite Agreement (CTA) members and support staff proudly wore pink in support of Pink Shirt Day on Feb. 24, 2021.
In press release from Maskwacis RCMP they state that members are focused on working together with the community to promote treating people with respect and kindness and community policing members have been engaged in the community through virtual Pink Shirt Day presentations to schools within Maskwacis.
“It’s a positive experience for the community,” said Cst. Stephen Taylor with the Maskwacis RCMP.
Currently Maskwacis RCMP has 13 members within the CTA who serve the Four Nations within Maskwacis. CTA devotes 100 per cent of their working hours to the policing needs of the Four Nations.
