The Morna Chorney Heart and Soul Volunteer Award is seeking nominations for its fourth year. Morna Chorney was a very dedicated volunteer who volunteered over 20 years with both the Ponoka Hospital and Care Centre and Centennial Centre for Mental Health and Brain Injury.

“This award, thanks to the generosity of the Chorney family, is presented to an individual in the community of Ponoka, who is 60 years or older and is an active volunteer displaying commitment, leadership, and community spirit,” says Leanne Brusegard, Volunteer Resources Coordinator, Ponoka Hospital and Care Centre.

Nomination forms are available at the Volunteer Resources office at the Ponoka Hospital and Care Centre. The nomination deadline is April 2, 2010.
