Thanks to efforts from the CP Holiday Train the Ponoka Food Bank has another $4,000 in its coffers to help with its food bank.

The CP Holiday Train rolled into Ponoka Dec. 7 and despite -20 degrees C weather, residents came out to donate food and money to the cause, while warming up next to a bonfire. Keeping their hearts warm was Dallas Smith and the Odds, who took part in the tour through Blackfalds, Lacombe, Ponoka and Wetaskiwin.
