What’s better for a piano student celebrating their 10th birthday than a shared birthday party with one of her favourite people, her piano teacher? Verna Raycraft celebrated her 93rd birthday and Katie Hodges celebrated her 10th, together on Aug. 16 (Raycraft’s birthday was on Aug. 29 and Hodges’ was on Aug. 26).
