History lesson: St. Augustine School students from Grades 9 to 12 got an interactive education on the horrific and deliberate genocide of Ukrainians in 1932-33 as the Holodomor Mobile Classroom made a stop in Ponoka April 18. The tour, last done in 2017 in Alberta, is about engaging students and helping them experience what happened when the then Soviet Union and Joseph Stalin starved millions of Ukrainians to death in order to take over the country.
