PHOTO: PES breakfast program gets a boost

Program has received “tremendous” community support

Ponoka Home Church and Ponoka Child Care Centre donated $3,000 and non-perishable food items to Ponoka Elementary School’s breakfast program.

The program has received “tremendous” community support, according to Wolf Creek Public Schools (WCPS) communication coordinator Vince Burke.

Other donations have been received from Dr. Leslie Gill (dentist), $500; the Loyal Order of Moose, $1,000; Ponoka Lions, $1,000; Seafield Ladies (retired Social Workers), $250; Ponoka Legion Ladies Auxiliary, $100; Adam Troitsky, $250; Thirsk Automotive, $500 and Belle Lydom, food donation.
