Farmers market open for business: The Ponoka Farmers Market opened up for the season May 3 with some of the favourites, plus new vendors in store. Here Penney and Abbey Jansen of Heavenly Home Baking out of Westerose present their baked goodies for shoppers. Also new to the market is the Consumers Distributors out of Edmonton, selling candies and fruits and veggies for shoppers. The market is open Wednesdays in the morning.
