The third annual Purses of Love campaign donated over 100 purses filled with personal hygiene and other emergency items to Ponoka Family and Community Support Services (FCSS) and Ponoka Victim Services on Nov. 29.

The campaign is organized by Ponoka business owner Mary Lynn Ellingson and supported by other local businesses who donated items or purses.

“Ponoka FCSS is always appreciative of the thoughtful efforts of local businesses,” said FCSS executive director Shannon Boyce. “The purse initiative is a perfect example of inclusion and care.”
