Remember When?
The Newton/Bures families began to settle in the Seafield district southeast of Ponoka in 1897, and over the years their ongoing generations continued to farm and work and contribute to the overwhelming successes and growth of this thriving area. Shown in the back row from left to right are: Frank Newton, John and Anton Bures and Tena; and then their siblings in front are: Mike, Guy, Mamie, Helen, Esther, and Alice.
