Calgary's Curious George gave Ponoka folks a night of entertainment on St. Paddy's Day during the Ponoka Arts, Recreation and Culture Society's first major fundraiser.
The event was close to full and is intended to raise money towards future recreation opportunities in Ponoka. The proposed field house is one such program the town is raising money for.
Full fundraising dollars expected to be reported in the March 22 edition of Ponoka News.
