Boxing up books: Maskwacis Cultural College hosted its 7th annual community appreciation barbecue May 29, complete with a huge book giveaway and various activities for local students. The bbq cost a toonie, while all kind of books were made available to students and teachers. This year’s theme was Nehiyawetan (let’s speak in Cree) and students earned tokens to use at the four activity centres by using some Cree words. Photo by Jordie Dwyer
