The Ponoka Moose Lodge presented several cheques to Ponoka Elementary School to support their programs during the lodge’s community spaghetti dinner on March 29.
The lodge donated $1,000 to the Grade 6 camp, $1,000 to the snack bin program and $1,000 to the breakfast and lunch program.
Over 100 people showed up for the dinner.
The next community spaghetti dinners will be held on April 26 and May 30. The cost is $5 per person.
A steak night and dance is planned for May 18, at $30 per person. Steaks must be pre-ordered.
