There’s still time to vote for Ponoka’s Bandolier Brigade in CBC’s Searchlight.

The group is a rock and roll power trio with sounds that will feel both familiar and new to classic rock fans.

Consisting of Ponoka’s own Mark Ferguson, Brett Halland, and Johnny Handsome (Ian Ferguson), the members of the band strive to rekindle the spirit of rock and roll in their electric performances and captivating recordings.

With three albums under their belt, fans of Muse, Rush, or Boston will all find something to enjoy when listening to Bandolier Brigade.

Currently, the band has been selected to be one of approximately 2,000 lucky bands across Canada to take part in the CBC’s Searchlight contest. The song entered is Margaritifer, a track off of Bandolier Brigade’s latest album, The Last Horizon.
