The Ponoka Splash Park is closing today, Sept. 7, for the season.
The Splash Park annual operating season runs from June to September (weather permitting).
In a press release, the Town of Ponoka stated the splash park is closing due to cooler fall weather, as well as allowing town crews times to complete seasonal maintenance.
“We look forward to inviting you back for another summer season of family fun next year,” stated the release.
