For many decades hockey has always been a favourite sport in both our community and throughout the districts of Ponoka County. Most of the teams played on outdoor rinks, fun leagues were formed and others eventually joined a Farm Hockey League that enjoyed keen winter competition in and around Ponoka for many years.
