Ponoka’s first outdoor swimming pool was a great community fundraising project that was completed in 1964 in the area where the Kinsmen Community Centre currently stands.
It made a great summer fun splash for families for many years, hosting thousands of swimmers of all ages from Town and County.
This same ‘fun in the sun’ spirit will prevail once again next summer with the addition of the exciting new Splash Park in our Centennial Park!
