Remember When? It’s football season again and this week we salute and wish the best of luck to our PSC Broncs, Bantams, and other teams who are headed out to the grid-iron for another exciting fall season. Ponoka and district squads have always done very well in local and Central Alberta Football League competitions, and this 1958-59 Broncs contingent got to the championship round several times in front of large and cheering crowds up at the Comp field. Shown in the back row from left to right: Jack Heatherington, Garry Anderson, Dick Latiff, Younge, Smith, Wayne Lloyd, Jerry Patterson, Mackus, Larry Mickey, Matson Johns, John Matt, Fred Galusha, and Coach Jim Day; and then up front are: Wayne Wright, Marv Roberts, Paul Ruggles, Helmet Neldner, Paulson, Butch Leslie, Palechek, Sweet, Jim Gahr, Clark, Roy Cleveland, Les Owk, and Turney.
