Remember When? For countless decades in our community the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #66 has held Decoration Day ceremonies at the Field of Honour in the Forest Home Cemetery just west of Ponoka along Highway #53. Members of the Legion and Ladies’ Auxiliary as well as veterans, families, and guests gather on a late summer day to pay solemn tribute to our fallen district soldiers, who have bravely served their nation at home and overseas in wars and peacekeeping efforts for more than a century.
