Remember When? One of the longstanding traditions at the Alberta Hospital Ponoka (now Centennial Centre) has been the preparation of the meals for the many special events and gatherings for patients, staff, and visitors over the busy Christmas season. Shown here in this 1950s photo are the staff of the busy Hospital Stores, left to right Bev Umbach, Arthur (Speedy) Williams, and Ted Clyburn weighing and preparing a room full of turkeys, soon destined for the big ovens in the kitchens and then on to the plates of hundreds of delighted guests.
