Remember When? Red Thunder was a young First Nations group who performed their colourful dances and song throughout the world for many occasions, and were among the featured entertainers at the Ponoka Centennial Homecoming Weekend celebration hosted in our community from July 31st to Aug. 4th, 2004. The gala celebration marked our 100th anniversary as a thriving central Alberta town, and hosted and toasted hundreds of early and present families, individuals, and guests to share countless special events, attractions, and great memories.
