The 19th annual community fundraiser was held at the home of Neil and Linda Cunnington on April 4. The eventful evening started with 12 tables of crazy whist. Winners: Ladies high-Ella Laughlin, low Betty Matejka. Men’s high: Bill Avison, low Charlie Bowie. Door prize winners were Esther Schnell, Sharon Avison and Margaret Martin. Raffle winners: Eileen Lee and Bary Adams.
A lively auction of many great-donated items followed. Thanks to Shane of Big Strapper Auction for donating his time to this fantastic fundraiser. The money raised from this event goes to those with unfortunate incidents. Total raised was $4,000. Thanks to everyone who helped make this a huge success.
