Summer will be celebrated in style at the Ponoka Aquaplex on Aug. 8. The annual Children’s Festival will offer a public swim, games and activities.

The festival will also feature an inflatable bungee run, trampoline, dunk tank and fishpond to provide entertainment and fun.

Manager of the Aquaplex, Sharon Klinger, says the event is very popular and is looking forward to having another successful festival.

“This is one of our annual events and it wraps up the summer before kids go back to school,” said Klinger. “It’s a fun party to celebrate summer.”

Refreshments including hot dogs, drinks and popcorn will also be available.
