The Liquor Store has been a member of the Ponoka Welcome Wagon for 13 years. Receiving their plaque in the left picture are owners Bing Jones and Shirley Jones, centre. Presenting the award is Judy Olfert, area manager, Violet Smith, Ponoka Head representative and Pat Newman the president of Welcome Wagon. Rexall also recently received a plaque from Welcome Wagon for being a part of the program for 25 years. Olfert, Newman and Smith presented their plaque to representatives from Rexall. Accepting the award are Shirley Paul, supervisor, Genevieve Kennedy, cosmetician, Christa Bartal, pharmacy manager and Joanne Klopstra missing from the picture is store manager Sherry McKinnon.
