The Silver Valley 4-H Riders look to a busy year

Club Reporters: London Hunt, Zoey Comeau and Jade Dye

Silver Valley 4-H Riders are excited about the upcoming year.

We have 15 members and an awesome team of leaders. Michelle Archibald is our Club Leader and our Approved Equine Leaders are Carissa Raugust, Darcy and Rene Cunnington and our Assistant Equine Leader is Emily Jeffery.

We had our first club meeting in October and two diary workshops to get us started on our 4-H books. Mark and Tina Stewart hosted our family fall ride in October and everyone had a great time.

Our club meetings are on the first Thursday of every month and our riding clinics are on the third Monday of every month, which are held at the Calnash Ag Event Centre.

Our executive for the year are as follows: President – Quinn Cabay, Vice-President – Jenalee Stewart, Secretary – Emily Cline, Treasurer – Marissa Cunnington, District Reps – Sophia Huseby and Lexis Groves, Club Reporters – London Hunt, Zoey Comeau and Jade Dye, Club Historians – Halie Archibald and Mady Asante and Parliamentarian – London Hunt.

One of our community service events was volunteering at the Klaglahachie SUDS performance this Christmas season. We worked along with our parents to welcome, seat and serve all the guests who attended the dinner theatre and shows.
