On Sunday, Nov. 23, the Ponoka Festival of Trees organizing committee presented a cheque for $59,500 to Nell Liddle of the Ponoka Hospital Foundation.
Organizing co-chair Sherry Gummow used the opportunity to once again thank the sponsors, congratulate the festival’s success and add that 2015 was already on people’s minds.
During the presentation of the cheque, tears sprung to Liddle’s eyes as she thanked the committee and sponsors for their hard work.
