Who is the fittest of them all?
That question will be answered Sunday, Oct. 3, when the Tri-Services Fitness Challenge takes place at Ponoka Composite High School.
The battle will pit the men and women of Ponoka’s fire department, paramedics and the RCMP against each other in fitness and trivia challenges.
While the winning team will claim bragging rights for the next year, there is a bigger purpose for the event — the opportunity to support Ponoka Victim Services and the Ponoka Food Bank.
Monetary donations will be accepted, along with non-perishable food items and toiletries.
A donation will give those who support the challenge with the chance to win one of the many door prizes that have been donated by local businesses.
The competition between the fire department, paramedics and the RCMP begins at 1 p.m. at PCHS.
