Shaun Sanders and Megan Schroder met 10 years ago at a music festival in Ontario.

Megan’s guitar player didn’t arrive in time for her set, so Shaun, who was performing there with his band, stepped in without rehearsal and helped Megan pull off an amazing set.

The couple have been together ever since. Their mutual love of Fleetwood Mac’s music prompted them to create their ‘Fleetwood Mac Revisited’ tribute, focusing on singers Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks.

A top attraction in eastern Canada and Mexico, this will be the duo’s first visit to western Canada. The 15-date tour began Aug. 7 in Regina and ends Aug. 26 in Kamloops, B.C.

Starting as a teenager, Shaun has played throughout Canada, the U.S. and the Caribbean in numerous rock bands, including top recording artists Helix and The Buffalo Brothers.

While not performing in Fleetwood Mac Revisited, he leads the popular London, ON Led Zeppelin tribute band ‘ZED’.

Singer, songwriter and actress Megan Schroder started her musical career as a drummer before graduating to lead singer in popular 70s/80s cover band Loveless. She appeared in the movie Tapped Out, performed in the stage plays Elvis Is Dead and Cabaret, wrote the seasonal favorite If I Don’t Make It Through This Christmas and is currently enjoying airplay across Canada for her latest recording Is It Just Me?

Fleetwood Mac Revisited comes to Ponoka on Sunday, Aug. 15 for an exclusive dinner show appearance at the Ponoka Golf Club. For tickets or more information, call 780-851-2282.
