Last call

Ponoka Plaza Bingo closed its doors after the last ball was called Feb. 26. A full crowd turned out to reminisce and to see if luck was in the cards. Friends Audrey Cummins and Sandy Clish came from Rimbey regularly to enjoy a social night out. With declining attendance over the last few years, the bingo hall, open since 1990, wasn’t making enough to get by.
