The title of the Passion and Grace album featuring Ponoka artists Bill Tozer and Rema Marney sums up the messages and styles of the songs comprised in their new CD.

Each artist has their own individual expressive music and sequencing of songs on virtually every other track between Tozer and Marney make for a fantastic variety.

The music and lyrics both contrast and complete each other and the dynamics create for an interesting listen.

Singer/songwriter Marney elicits a peaceful and easy feeling to her words and melody and her lyrics are inspirational and tranquil.

Tozer, although some songs are easygoing, tends to evoke rock and roll energy with his guitar playing and displays his passion for music with his rich and powerful vocals.

The tracks on the CD like ‘Get Away’ and ‘Judgment Call’ are upbeat and thought-provoking while others such as ‘Dreamland’ and ‘Soul Searching’ are reflective and mellow but with still with a kick.

The CD is well recorded and includes a variety of instruments including guitar, piano and drums.

The CD includes 15 tracks and the last two songs on the album are demos, they are not really mixed down but are meant as a taste or a preview to a second possible upcoming Passion and Grace CD.

The united styles of Tozer and Marney interweave to create a full and complete combination of professionalism and mature sound. Their dynamics complement each other in such a way that it makes sense that they are both on one CD.
